yes thats true but am i the only one who remembers last time he was bugged? he took one item then switch to another item. i dont wanna give him a item then when they fixed him he then wants a item i have 20000 of ><.

Well, he gave me the right acceptance text. Took my 10 Shadowy Remnants and gave me the gifts. Dicey placement if you are solo! Right next to White Mantle group!

So where should we farm these shadowy remnants? I just took a solo trip to Kessex Peak. It took a long time going through the black curtain, and then in Kessex I only got 3. That's not a feasible farm rate.

Talkmark is a good place, just have to know where the pop ups are, it took 2 trips and I got a stack of fibers from the trees!!!

Talmark Wilderness. I used a Ranger Spirit Spammer with Painful Bond. Zoned out and in twice. Got over a stack of plant fibers too! Leave from Temple of the Ages, make a hard right at the exit to avoid the Mantle. Blast a few mobs on the way to the gate to Talmark. Spirit spam works good because you have plenty of time to set up the spirits when you hear a Fog Nightmare growl.

Graven Images really sped things up, thanks for the tip!

I accidentally forgot to abandon it too, and then I accidentally took quest reward next time I went to get it, but I had a character lying around who can still do it. I need to pay attention to these things.

I'm wondering if they changed the drops just for that quest. Just did Graven 5 times and no remnants. It was dropping really well for me before. Could just be an unlucky streak though.

Added: Now up to 8 tries, the remnants just stopped dropping there for me.
